KW Challenge #44 - Pretty

Quick post...I decided to come home from Na's and
make a card while I waited for Jim to get home from DJing. I LOVE the cuttlebug...I used 2 different textures (well 3 if you count the one behind the "pretty" epoxy sticker) for this card.

The ribbon is from Michael's, the flower from CTMH and I punched a little circle for the center and topped it off with a little crystal.

Nite!!

Thank You - Glitter

I wanted to play around with the AMAZINGLY AWESOME Doodlebug Glitter - this stuff r-o-c-k-s!

It's soooo pretty :) Also, I love the double-sided Amy Butler paper which I made sure you all saw with the little brad in the corner!

I stamped the image with chocolate brown ink and then used my glue pen to trace out the shape - on went the glitter! That and the "thank you" are from the Amy Butler set I got at (where else) Michael's. I just love that set - it's so versatile and cute.

It's a tiny little card with a lot of sparkle and I love it. Enjoy!

Thinking of You...

Just cause...I sat down at my desk and started creating - not for any challenges, just because I wanted to.

I think it's pretty - I like the shape of the Thinking of You paper and I cut out the flowers from this paper and stuck a couple buttons. The border at the top is the Fiskars Punch Treading Water.

And...I added my brand new - super cute watermark!!

I just spent the last hour and a half with Na and Christy and we're all on our computers doing our own projects - Christy is working on some vinyl stuff (visit her Esty account for some CUTE stuff) and Na is working on some digi wedding album pages. I'm going to finish a page for my sister of my crazy-adorable niece Rachael! Can't wait to give it to her.

I'll be posting another card shortly - stay around for a while and visit..and be sure to check out my friends' blogs!

Love ya'll!

Caardvarks Kraft #2 - Fabulous

My new favorite obsession is kraft paper. Therefore, I am super-excited about the Caardvarks challenge - Kraft Macaroni and Cheese! I've already posted earlier in the week, but I thought I'd post another that I created tonight. It's my favorite card that I've done yet. I got my inspiration from the latest CTMH catalog - I was flipping through and this design caught my eye - and I've been wanting to use this Amy Butler paper that I got from...where else...Michael's. The "Fabulous" stamp is one of the phrases from the Many Happy Returns stamp set from SU! The little squares are acrylic pieces from our local store K2 - I just attached coordinating pieces of paper to them using Glossy Accents.

Embossing - Whatever Challenge #2

I'm excited for another one of Naomi's "Whatever Challenge" - #2 is Embossing! I just have to warn you...I'm not the best embosser in the world, I'm still findin' my groove. So, on that note, I embossed the green swirl, the brackets and the "special". I got my inspiration by these ADORABLE (ninguins) from BamPop! and my two special stampin' buds...Christy and Naomi.

The ribbon is from American Crafts and the "friends" is from an Amy Butler embellishment set from Michael's.

You must have by now realized that I am a Micheal's addict. I live literally 2 minutes away and that was the only place I shopped when I first started. I've slowly branched out to CTMH and SU! but you know, I have to pace myself or my husband will start finding out how much this hobby costs!! uh oh...that would be terrible!! lol.

Ok well that's it for now...I'm going to watch America's Next Top Model reruns and try and shake this headache I have!

Enjoy the post!

Kraft Macaroni and Cheese!

I was searching around some of my favorite blogs after my SU! party and I came across another challenge from Caardvarks...Kraft Macaroni and Cheese (awesome name!!). I made it super simple because Jim and I wanted to duel in Guitar Hero on our Wii machine - best console EVER.

The stamps are from the Amy Butler stamp set from Michaels. The border at the bottom is Treading Waters punch from Fiskars. The sanddollar type circle things are cut from a paper I got at K2 (our favorite Sarasota scrapbooking store...visit their blog here).

And I finished it off with some stickles (love those!).
I'm off - rock on everyone!
